Yes. If your name is drawn, you’ll also secure a place on the Ffern ledger – giving you access to our seasonal fragrances. These arrive 4 times a year, every solstice and equinox. Deliveries include a sampling kit and if a fragrance isn’t for you, returns are free. Those on the ledger can leave at any time, or opt to skip the coming season.
The Ffern ledger is a list of names that we keep at the Ffern studio in Somerset. Each season, we make one bottle of fragrance (and sometimes a candle) for each person on our ledger. The ledger allows us to focus on the customers we already have, and to maintain the small batch production methods that we've been developing since our launch.
A space on the ledger costs for a bottle of eau de parfum per season. If you're able to secure a space, this amount will be debited from your account the day you join, and on the first working day of every launch month from then on, until you decide to remove your name from the ledger.
There’s no minimum commitment involved - you could join for just one season if you liked.
At Ffern, we produce small-batch seasonal fragrances exclusively for the names on our ledger.
Since we only produce a very limited supply of perfume each season, we cannot guarantee you will be able to purchase any extra bottles.
That being said, please feel free to reach out to us after receiving your bottle, and we'll check to see if there are any remaining after all our ledger members have received theirs.

You are welcome to close your space on the ledger at any time, however we ask our members where possible to notify us of intent to cancel with one season’s notice, to allow time to pass on their space to someone else and to help eliminate waste. Members can leave the ledger via our online portal.
If you’re not ready to receive an upcoming order, you can also request to skip a season via the portal.
Please note - if you have an outstanding order, you will not be able to close your ledger space until you receive your fragrance.

Ledger members are welcome to skip up to two deliveries a year.
We understand that you may not have finished the previous season’s fragrance, or perhaps you are going to be away when we’re due to release one of our fragrances. Whatever the reason, we are happy to work around your needs.
Skipping a delivery will stop you from being charged for one season, and you will not receive that season’s fragrance.
If you’d like to skip a season, you can do so via our online portal (ffern.co/login) anytime before you are billed for that season's fragrance - billing day will always be during the first working week of each launch month (March, June, September & December).
No - the Ffern ledger comes with zero commitment. You can stay for as little as one season, or for as many as fragrances we make.
We also include a sample vial with every seasonal parcel. This allows you to try the fragrance before opening the main box, and if it’s not quite right for you, you can return the parcel to us for a refund.
